Uite ca Protectia Consumatorului are chiar mai multa putere decat ne-am fi
putut imagina :)

Arata foarte bine aceasta stire de ultima ora:
Protectia Consumatorului a inchis birourile UPC Cluj

Birourile UPC Cluj de pe strada Constantin Brancusi au fost sigilate astazi
de catre Oficiul pentru Protectia Consumatorului (OPC) Cluj. In aceste
conditii, firma nu va mai putea incheia contracte comerciale la locatia
respectiva.

Decizia OPC a fost luata ca urmare reclamatiilor depuse de clientii UPC,
persoane care au primit somatii prin care li se pretinde plata anumitor sume
restante, vechi de cel putin cinci ani. Reprezentantii OPC Cluj sustin ca
vor pune sigiliul si pe celelalte puncte de lucru ale companiei unde se pot
incheia contracte. Birourile vor ramane inchise pana cand UPC va opri
aceasta practica, incorecta, respectiv trimiterea de somatii catre abonati,
practica reclamata, pana acum, la OPC Cluj de peste 30 de persoane.

Ieri a avut loc o intalnire intre cele doua parti, respectiv OPC si UPC, in
urma careia s-a concluzionat ca societatea nu mai are dreptul sa desfasoare
activitate comerciala pana cand nu isi vor reglementa situatia. "In momentul
in care am intrat in sediul UPC nimeni nu stia cu ce se ocupa fiecare birou.
Este un haos total in organizarea lor", a declarat Mircea Radu, director OPC
Cluj.
