A question about yahoo email groups

Hari Bol  pamho. agtsp.  I manage a yahoo email group related to ISKCON. We uploaded a file recently to this group. If a member of this email group has his/her yahoo email id registered, they can go to groups.yahoo.com and click on this group name and see the file under File link. If somoebody has his/her non-yahoo email id registered like gmail or hotmail or something else, how can they view this file? Thanks Hare Krishna Your servant Bhakta Vidyasagar

never managed a yahoo group. with google groups, you don't need a gmail
account to join a group, see files, etc. i would think it's the same with
yahoo groups.

to find out the details you'll have to look through the help files they
have for their group management. i don't know where they are, but i'm
sure they exist--unless somebody else here has done this already and can
tell you, of course.

You could use Dropbox instead to share the file.

I stay away from yahoo, precisely because they do force you to open an account with them to use their stuff. I am on two yahoo email lists - I have the list posts fowarded to my normal email account, and never use the web interface.
