Cancer cells send out the alarm on tumor-killing virus
‎Brain-tumor cells that are infected with a cancer-killing virus release a protein "alarm bell" that warns other tumor cells of the impending infection and enables them to mount a defense against the virus, according to a study led by researchers at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. Influenza 'histone mimic' suppresses antiviral response
‎A team of researchers led by scientists at The Rockefeller University has identified a novel mechanism by which influenza interferes with antiviral host response. The finding, reported in this week's issue of the journal Nature, shows that the immunosuppressive NS1 protein of the influenza A virus hijacks key regulators of antiviral gene function by mimicking a core component of gene regulating machinery.

AstraZeneca files lawsuit against the FDA

Pfizer's Prevnar 13® shown to be immunogenic in older children and adolescents
