Hi,

Is the metadata on errors, accuracy, adjustments, methods used in
aggregations, and all sorts of processes that the original data (from
surveys or other statistical agencies that the World Bank collects its
data from) went through available through an API?

Otherwise, is it documented somewhere? How would one proceed to get a
hold of this important information in order to factor them in their
consumption? Having this metdata would allow more accurate statistical
analysis.

On a related note, what's the ETA on [1]?

Thanks,

Hi Sarven,

We will get back to you on how to access Metadata in API. In the meantime, you can download all Metadata in DataBank.

1. Go to http://databank.worldbank.org

2. Select the database and variables desired.

3. Click "Download" in the top right.

4. In the pop-up box, select the Metadata tab and click Download.

This will bring up all Metadata for a particular data set.

Best,
Leila
