Hello~ :-)
I'm a graduate student studying about English language and corpus
linguisitics.
I had known that tagged corpus can also be used in the Wordsmith tools
(WS)!
But, I found that there is a specific tagset that can only be operated
in WS, which is BNC tag.
As far as I know, that's C5 tagset! Right?
But, the problem was that I had C7 tagged corpus (I run "WinCLAWS" to
do this!)
So I got them changed into C5 version through on-line web site.
But it still doesn't work in WS.
Would you let me know any ways to use my C7 tagged corpus in WS?

p.s.
I also tried "Text converter" in WS.
But it only works for the change like "word_tag to word<tag> mark-up"

Sukjin, hi

You can (and may need to) edit the tag file -- that's why there's an
Edit button next to it. Put the tags which apply to *your* data. The
BNC tag file is just there as a guide.
