Hi Mike,

I am trying to generate a WSConcgram. I have never done this before, and am trying to follow the steps in help but what it says there does' match what I see in WS6. In help, it says, "as usual, choose File | new" - what I don't understand is from where I should select file|new - I have tried this in concord, keyword and wordlist, as well as on the index I have created, but do not find the dialogue box with 'build step 1" etc that is displayed on the help page. If you could possibly provide me with a brief idiot's guide to the steps in producing a comncgram I would be very grateful.

Please make sure you have the very latest version of WS6. The menu
works OK there. Post a reply if still having trouble.

Hi Mike,

I have downloaded what I believe to be the latest version of WS6, but there is no tab for WSConcgram along the top. I have uploaded a grab to show you what I see when I launch WS6. As you can see, there is a tab for WSConcgram in the settings pane, but no way to actually used this function. This is the version of WS6 that is currently available for download from the main WS page at http://www.lexically.net/wordsmith/version6/index.html.

Sorry things are not clear. You will find large buttons for all the
various utilities just below the tab you have clicked in that image,
in the tab labelled Utilities.
(The tabs you have looked at have a wheel shape as well as the icon of
that Tool, which is supposed to suggest that those tabs are of
settings. The tab you have open is therefore the tab for altering
WSConcGram settings temporarily or permanently.)

Ah yes - all is now clear. Seems to be my own ineptitude that is the issue here. Thanks very much for your help with this.
