Subject: AtomPub Week 1 Status Report
This Week I:

- Setup my development environment for WordPress.
- Installed Movable Type and setup a TypePad account.
- Created a space on the import page for the new importer.

Trouble-spots:

Believe it or not, my most troublesome part of the week was installing
Movable Type. Something wasn't right with the Perl configuration on my
personal web server and Movable Type would not install period. I ended
up configuring it in MAMP, but was forced to use a SQLlite database as
MAMP doesn't have the MySQL Perl modules. This whole fiasco really
makes me appreciate the simplicity of WordPress' 5 minute install.

Once MT was installed and I started playing with it, I quickly learned
my goal for next week. The AtomPub feed URL is non-standardized and
will need to be detected through RDF. I will have to write the code
for that next week.

Next Week I Plan On:

- Writing the code for auto detecting the AtomPub feed.
- Passing successful login credentials to the AtomPub feed, sending a
list of published posts.
- Begin writing the code for then parsing each of those posts.
