(I just joined this group after searching Google Groups for a
Wordpress group. I run CapitolAnnex.com, which is a Texas-based
political blog.)

I've posted a help ticket over on the WordPress forums, but no one
over there seems to help, so I thought I'd try sending it to this
group.

For some reason, this morning, WordPress started "eating" my posts at
CapitolAnnex.com. I published three posts, none of which appear on the
front page of the blog or RSS feed, and none of which show up in
"Manage Posts." I published a "test" post. It also failed to show up,
but when I clicked on "edit post" that shows up in the "write" screen
right after the post is published, I can edit that post, but it still
won't publish.

In addition, when I visit the site, in the bar at the top of the
browser, the title of the site is preceeded by "July, 2008."

I've got no clue as to what is going on, and hope someone might be
able to help.

Thanks,
Vince

Hey there Vince,

I checked you site and see as the top home post, an article dated
August 1, 2008
http://screencast.com/t/905ItWW8

Is this the most current item? Are you still having an issue?

Strangely, the issue corrected itself around 4:40 today with no rhyme or reason, minutes before I was about to pay a programmer to try to fix it.

"It was once said that the moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped."——Hubert H. Humphrey
