I've used WP since v5.1.

I like WP10. I got a new computer and wanted to install it.
It asks for disk from earlier version - in my case I think it is WP8.
I have misplaced it. Corel seems to be no help.

Anything I can do?

No. You must have your serial number. I guess you could search some
crack sites to get a registration number but that would be illegal.

You can download a free trial version.

I suspect the serial number is hidden one of the files installed. Also,
I see my WP12 startup window has the serial number at the center bottom.

I have the serial number, but that is not enough for it. I suspicion
that's because
I bought an upgrade rather than a new purchase.

It wants the WP10 disk (which I have) and an earlier disk (which I
can't find).

Well, rats.

That's one of the advantages of having a sock drawer: my disks are
hiding under the dress socks, which I have not worn since I was laid
off, so the disks are safe..

Indeed Rats.

So, to Hell with the Rats.

I bought WP5.1,
upgraded to WP6
upgraded to WP7
upgraded to WP8
upgraded to WP9, and
upgraded to WP10.

And this is the trash I have to go through.

No way. Now, there are Google Documents and OpenOffice.org.
Corel can go to Hell.

Corel did me a favor.

Thanks for being jerks.
