Anybody know of a way to take a wordle apart and reveal it's code?

Don't do that. It's against the license--see the FAQ.

You can read about my "secret Wordle algorithm" in the book chapter
that I've made available from my home page, and on the Wordle blog
(click "News" from the Wordle web site).

I doubt if you would be allowed to unpack Wordle and access the code as this is not your application

OK.

I wouldn't know how to do that anyway. I only wanted to recreate some
Wordles where I used combinations of option keys to create Wordless
Wordles. (See my page) http://www.wordle.net/gallery?username=dolceedallineare

Thanks,
Dolce

I don't entirely remember, in fact, that was the reason for my post.
If something could take the Wordle apart and show wich keyboard/option/
shift character I used, and the formula I pasted into the the second
window on the advanced page, then I could recreate them.

I see. It may be just a lot of time to experiment, repeatedly
reconfiguring until I randomly get close to the shape I want.(Footle,
for example)

http://www.wordle.net/show/wrdl/1033494/footle

I also create negative space by coloring some text the same as the
background (see Shiboleth)

http://www.wordle.net/show/wrdl/1041884/shiboleth

Probably a number of other twists that occured to me while I was
working and have since vanished from memory.
