Hi Dollar Bill,

Love your name!

Have you tried to do the same with a different browser? It should, of course, work in any but for troubleshooting purposes I would just use a different one. Of course also make sure your Java is updated and not blocked by anything. I know it is all complicated, computers still require a lot of attention.

I went through the trouble shooting tips, and they are not working. Java 5 is installed, but the java test in not working. Can anybody give me some advice on what to do here. Thanks in advance.

Always nice to see replies,

In your case when another browser works,  the problem probably lies with Mozilla (Firefox) the browser has a lot of settings for Add-Ons,

go to Tools

then Choose Add-ons

and you probably get a long list of items there.

You can Enable and Disable the add-ons and Java is one of them.

If you have the time check it out it may get your Mozilla back to working order.

Lisa,

Thanks for the advice. I used safari instead of mozilla and it worked. Now I'm curious why it didn't work with mozilla.

Why not change it and allow Java. My Firefox is set to allow it and I never have had any security problems.

You could test it for a few hours or whatever you feel comfortable with.

It seems that it where you had the Wordle problem (I think).

Hoping that in the end you got a bit wiser with the Wordle group!

Chris,

Thanks for the response. I checked that and firefox said any java plug-ins are on a blocked list because it says they are a security concern.
