Jonathan has changed employers and has no plans to add additional features
to Wordle. The workaround to do what you are asking is to print your wordle
to PDF, then open it in Inkscape and edit as desired.

I'm trying to make word clouds with my students names on them. I have
gotten all of my students' clouds to work except one, Sean. Does anyone
know why I can't get his name to show up or increase in size? I have done
everything the EXACT same as my other students, at least I think I have.

I am unaware of any limit as to the number of characters that can be input.

I love it when there are items I did not know about as yet.

I will download Jing, and have a good look at it, probably better than the

I use Wordle for graphics and Photoshop. What I do is go to
[link] and download JING, it is a free screen capture software,
you then simply follow the simple directions to capture either the whole
screen or selcet the area you want to select and it will save I believe it

Yes, Jeremy, you can remove individual words in a wordle by right clicking
them and choosing delete.
The word count table can be copied and pasted, but you might have to do

No, you can't. I have worked around this somewhat in the past by using the
second input box on the Wordle advanced tab and applying colors from a
saved list of hex codes representing a custom palette.

I had the same problem and can confirm that the fix @adoxa suggested worked
for me. "Pop out" the wordle in a window by first clicking "Open in
Window", then invoke the print function from the modal browser window that
should open. Now I get the print dialog, sometimes after clicking print
twice.

removed all Java and installed latest version only. The printer applet box

I'm having this problem too. I'm on windows 7 and have completely removed
JAVA and reinstalled. Click print get the option to check the box 'always
allow this applet to access printer' click ok and then nothing. Printer box
does not come up. Don't know what else to try? Any advice is appreciated.

I love this program! I'm an English teacher (as a foreign language, in
Israel).
When I click on print, nothing happens. I am waiting for print options, so
I can make it into a pdf file, but nothing at all happens.
Advice?

What I just did on a PC (Windows 8) I clicked on "Open Window" (next to the
Print Command), then you get again an option to print and for me that is
when it would print.

On the Print command all I get is the Java Security Warnings and they add a
new icon to the Taskbar but printing does not work.

You can save a wordle via 2 methods as outline in the FAQs: 1) screen
capture or 2) "print to PDF." Exact steps for these will vary depending on

I was having the same issue. I resolved it by deleting the extra versions
of java. When you install new version of java the old
versions don't delete. You will have to go into the control panel and
delete the older versions of java.
