New to the site and tried to print my first creation. How come it doesn't
fit on a pice of paper? Am I doing something wrong?

Hmmm, I haven't had a problem with it not fitting on a piece of paper.
Might want to check your page orientation under print settings and see
if that helps. And you can always use print to PDF to get more control
over the results. Video on that here
