How do I copy the image so I can resize it to make it into a poster?

There is a full-proof way to produce a vector copy of wordle baloons.
Google for "virtual printer" and download one that looks good. I
personally use the one from here > http://code-industry.net/downloads.php
Play around with the options and print from the wordle window to a
600x600 png file. Open that file with Adobe Illustrator and go to
Object > Live Trace > Tracing Options and there choose Mode : Color,
Max Colors : 256, then proceed to trace the image. After the tracing
is complete you should have an "Expand" button at the right side of
your menu bar. Click that and afterwards double click the vector
object to edit its contents. You can delete the white background but
there will still be white bubbles inside letters like "B", "A", "e",
etc. Click one of them then go to Select > Same > Fill Color and it
should select all the white that's left on the page. Delete that then
double click outside the page. You should now have a fully vectorized
wordle baloon in full color. You can export that as a transparent .png
file after choosing the proper size or copy paste it into photoshop as
a smart object. Have fun.

Check out the Rasterbator. I use this at school to blow up images to
make them enormous. It does alter the style of the image, but that's
kind of the point!

Posterazor is another option. Bitmap in -> multipage PDF for tiling out.
