It ain't exactly clay but photography is a skill potters should pick up not only to record their work but sometimes we get lucky and frame an outside shot that sings and becomes Art. For the last couple years I've entered some photos into the calender contest for the Dickinson County Conservation District. This year one photo won first place and a small cash prize in the Landscape category and will be December and another got honorable mention in the Plant close up category. Some visitors to their booth at the County Fair wanted prints to hang in addition to the calenders so I agreed to a release as a donation. Here are my entries for this year...
