families redefined

This xmas was very different for my sister and I. My father and his
girlfriend invited my mother and her husband over on boxing day to be
part of the yearly gathering. As I walked in the house I saw my mom
and my dad and family in the same room chatting and laughing. WHO
would have ever known. lol not I. lol It was like years just
collapsed in that moment.

It felt good in my body to hear them all laugh and talk, like a
douality in my body collapsed.

I even got a picture of them all standing together (one for the
books). As new families will unfold in ours, it will be nice to have
all the grandparents in one room for birthdays and holidays in the
future.

My sister and I went back to her place to watch movies afterwards and
giggled with whats transpired over the day. Never in our life time
would we have even believed the thought.

I even brought my guitar and played with my dads girlfriends son in
law which was a lot of fun. Playing music I have never even played but
just picking it up as I went.

It was a wonderful holiday, and yes there is more, soooo much more.
It also came with new awarenesses of new paths and new unfoldings in
who I am and who I am discovering myself to be. New paths not even
explored yet knowing they are there now.
