Let's assume he is not counting weekends in his calculations. That is
still $65,000 per week. I'd calculate that as 1-1.25 state jobs per
week that have to be cut back to make up for the loss, or 50-65
total. Any teachers we can lay off???
How long before he pulls Paychex out of town? The corporate
envroinment can't be any better.
But to Tommy G I say, "GOOD FOR YOU!" Thanks for dong it so
publically so the average "soak the rich" fan can see what happens
when you try that.
Doesn't matter, lots of rich folk will be doing the same thing. In
this case instead of getting $20,000 per week the state is losing
$45,000. What I find even funnier is that this happened days after a
Wall Street Journal article on states like NY losing population due to
high taxes.
The Laffer Curve works. Democrats refuse to believe that so expect a
slow economy for quite some time.
I didn't blame Obama, read more carefully. I said he better pay
attention because when the Bush cuts expire next year the same thing
will happen on a national level.
I've been saying off and on here to seperate for years. Just call
upstate "Ontario" or better yet sell the naming rights to Tom and the
city can be called "Rochester, Paychex"
