PHI ALPHA THETA EVENTS FOR OCTOBER 2011

History Bowl Competition (14 October 2011)      7:00 PM 4204 Dunbar Hall

        Test your History knowledge as a member of a team in a Final
Jeopardy! format (team members discuss their answer to a question and
write down their responses).  We will discuss plans for the rest of
the semester and Spring 2012.  Free pizza and soda will be provided.

Graduate School Application Workshop (21 October 2011)  1:00 PM         4413
Friedmann Hall

        Are you thinking about attending Graduate School?  Dr. Steuer will
address strategies to help you prepare your application forms and
increase your chances of acceptance.  This is a good opportunity to
find out about the application process and address any questions you
might have.  This workshop is especially helpful for juniors who are
considering graduate programs.

Tour of East Campus (28 October 2011)           2:00 PM East Hall

        Interested in finding out more about the history of East Campus, the
original campus of WMU?  Members of Friends of East Campus will
provide a tour of the buildings and their importance in the
development of the university.
