Since the online conference tools may need more people use it at the
same time, so how about
we arrange a time and try them together. How about Saturday,08-22,
on the morning 10:00-12:00 ?

Last time we tried dimdim,so this time shall we start from:

Dear all!

Yesterday morning we tried  three online meeting tools: mikogo,vyew and yugma.We also tried the dimdim the other day. So totally we have tried 4 online meeting tools until now.

Among these tools we tried, we found different functions they have and different user experience we have.  We'll put the introduction of these tools online as soon as possible just like Luping suggests. (It's supposed to finish the first version before Sep 1st).

This evening we'll hold another online meeting trial for the remaining 4 tools:

Hi, Bastien!

The report about xmind you mentioned may be written by Zhiyuan and modified by twinkling recently, though we'll also plan to develop more specific introduction of such tools and update it.

Our final goal is to develop a lecture to introduce these tools to researchers and put these tutorials online which help them get access to them easily and conveniently.

I am focusing on the online meeting tools recently, and I found the functions of these tools are more or less comparable with qq game system from which you asked me to show the idea on the blog. I haven't showed it yet since I wanna integrate these online meeting tools and qq game system together to elucidate my view on the instant  communication platform. I have tried 6 online conference tools till now and will try another two tomorrow. After this I will draft a specific report to introduce these tools. I wish this will be helpful for future wiseru online communication platform design and development.

As for Xmind.net, it has been elected "Best project for Acadomia" by the
SourceForge communityน, so your report is likely to draw the interest of
many people on the web as soon as we put it on the Drupal.

Xmind.net is a Hong Kong-based company, maybe you can contact them
directly and send them your reports (english or chinese), they will
surely be very interested.

One thing we can suggest them is to have "channels" on their repository
of maps here: http://share.xmind.net  For now it's just people posting
their maps, but being able to filter through _groups_ of people (like a
university, or an informal community like Wiser-U) could be useful.

1． Firstly，user should register and then you can sign in;
2． The user can control the interface as the host but it only allows
two participants be invited;
3． When all the people in the meeting room, you can use screen
sharing, chat, notes, audio, and video to conduct meetings online that
can be as interactive and productive as in-person meetings. The host
can control the interface and everyone in the meeting room can request
the remote control;
4． Uses can use white board and tools box which is being shared

-------There are 8 tools in the online conference tools list, we may choose 2 tools and develop the tutorials specifically,though now we can't figure out whether we can introduce both of them within 20 minutes in the lecture,especially when we make some video tutorials for them. Anyway, vyew should be the priority as its functions are the best among these tools.
