friendship. This event will be for you, and by you, featuring your
creativity, your art, and your relentless positivity and sense of
adventure. At Lucky Lake Campground, you'll enjoy outdoor camping,
both in theme camps and in open camping settings; music, a glorious
effigy, large and small scale art both fiery and otherwise, a carnival
atmosphere, and that creative energy and wild spirit you always bring.

2012 THEME: It Was On Fire When We Got Here
"Since the house is on fire let us warm ourselves." ~Italian Proverb
Every age has its own End Of Times. What supported the past no longer
works for the present, and systems come tumbling down. When the man's
on fire, and nobody is at the wheel the chaos seems daunting, but fire
means rebirth when it's flipped upside down. Here dawns the Age of
the Regionals. Burning Culture has spread around the planet with
annual fires blazing in Africa, Spain, New Zealand and dozens of other
locations. We spread like wildfire in all directions, igniting the
spheres of influence of art, media, and human experience. All of us
individual sparks light new fires in the hearts of those we encounter
each and everyday, aggregating into fire so giant and luminous it
changes how we perceive the things that burn and the
burning of things. When the world turns to see the change and
immolation around them-- there will come a question "Who started
this?" and we will answer with bold delight, "It was on fire when we got here!"
