If you have One Note on your computer, you can use that. Once the program has been opened (doesn’t have to be opened all the time) press the Microsoft button + S and then select what you want copied. It will either copy it to OneNote or to the Microsoft Clipboard.

If you are trying to get screen shots from your web browser there is a great Google Chrome app called Awesome ScreenShot (install it from the Chrome store in the browser chrome)

 

It is a free extension and work great.

In MS Word 2010 do insert, screenshot, screen clipping.  Using the tool that pops up drag a box around what you want to capture and that’s it.

Lots of options here.

• See Make Use Of's Ultimate Guide to Screenshots or take-a-screenshot.org or 40 Ways to Capture Screenshots
  
• If you want to go right to Twitter try Screentweet
  
• Download some apps like Snaplr or Skitch or Screenpresso
  
• and my favorites, use a Web2.0 tool like the Bounce App or add the Awesome Screenshot extension  to Google Chrome or Firefox
  

Find a favorite and have fun.  I have my students turn in a lot of their work this way too, annotate readings, etc...  Great tools for teaching.
