Converting FLAC to MP3: can't edit new MP3s in MP3Tag

After I convert FLAC files (batch, using GUI) to MP3s, the resulting
MP3 tags can't be edited in MP3Tag. I have to change the ownership
permissions (as administrator) of each mp3 file in order to do edits.
I am running WinFF on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit.
