I think i was the only lucky person yesterday to be kitesurfing at the
lake (didn't see any windsurfers either). The weather was fantastic,
the wind was not very strong but strong enough to go upwind with no
problems and the quality of the wind was excellent. The water was

We have a couple of potential days coming up, and I was wondering if
anyone is considering going to Carlyle, or perhaps Kansas City?
Tomorrow (Fri) shows good isobars all over the place, but the
forecasts for Carlyle are inconsistent...Weather.com says 15-25, but

I know it's after season, but I'm looking for a 1 1/4" or 1 1/8" dia. alum. boom with at least 226 cm. clear and a newer head clamp. I would prefer a triple head clamp to update my old hifly windsurfer. I am also looking for a sail that is smaller than 6.0 m2. This may be our last chance of getting in the water at decent
temperatures until next Spring. NOAA is forecasting 20mph base wind
with gusts up to 29mph and Weather underground is predicting 18mph.
Anybody up for a day trip? Wind speed is predicted to peak between 2
