The winds haven't really started coming up yet but the local weather is forcasting conditions similar to yesterday. Tammy and I will probably head out to the boat ramp between noon and 1:00 today. We may have to move on up to the high water launch by coles creek if there is too much northerly in the wind direction. Won't know until we get there.

I will probably not go today. I was lucky the wind picked up to 4.8 windsurf conditions Monday. My largest sail is the 4.8, and I don't think it will get that windy again today. With the lake level so high, self launching a kite is pretty much out, and Dan and Tammy may windsurf a different location than what is best for kiting.   I am curious where the kiters launched at Coles Creek Monday. Wind is finally coming up. I saw an SUV on old 50 heading towards Carlyle this morning with a windsurfing board I had never seen before. Maybe we will meet some new sailors today. Tammy and I will be heading out to the lake in a few minutes, hope to see you there.
