Long time from last post. The summer camp trip to sail in your world
did not work out but may make it up there next week to try the
water ... was is water air temp av there? Wet suits / shorties/
drysuits? Windsurf not kites for me ... best launches for wind dir?
Many thanks for advice .... will be a short jaunt and may bring a bud
but may just solo ... looking for a wed or thru arrival and bug out on
Sat. Took the week off and there has been NO WIND in Memphis.

Doh ... just did av temp look up and will bring long neoprene ... what
is water temp like ... looks like I might drag a buddy with ...
dunno ... we have not had any fronts drag far enough south to get any
wind so obviously, I will not drive away from wind to find wind but we
will see ... will update and thanks for advice.

You missed a good 7 days last week. 9/27, 9/29, 10/2 & 10/3 all saw wind. (With two of those days being sub 5.0 conditions) Before making the trip, make sure there is a pretty strong front approaching, otherwise it may not be worth it.  Good luck.   Chris   PS not sure what the water temp is, but on Friday it was still comfortable in a 3 mm wetsuit.  --- On Tue, 10/6/09, mac <macr...@gmail.com> wrote:
