Wow, sound like a killer session! I looked at windguru in the morning and it didn't look promising at all, plus the trees near my house were not moving even a bit, so I bailed out. Next saturday looks more consistent, a bit colder though. Hope it holds! I so want to go kiteboarding!

I think i was the only lucky person yesterday to be kitesurfing at the
lake (didn't see any windsurfers either). The weather was fantastic,
the wind was not very strong but strong enough to go upwind with no
problems and the quality of the wind was excellent. The water was
cold but not freezing and i was very comfortable with my dry suit. A

Weather Underground is reporting already good wind in the Carlyle
area. I'm leaving for Coles Creek; i'll be there between 10 and

I can't make it Friday but will be at Carlyle Satudary if the wind
forecast holds: at the time of this writing they're giving 15mph base
wind from the SSW with gusts up to 23 mph between 10AM and 1PM.

If there is wind on saturday I will go to Carlyle. So far windguru only shows some wind before 9 am. I will check again tomorrow and let you know.

Tammy and I spent over 2 hours at Harbour Light today, great winds and flat water with a slight wind shadow. Temps were not that bad with the sun out. Hope to see more people there Saturday, looks like a good West wind...perfect for Dam East.
