I may be the only guy equiped with a thick dry suit mittens boots head and neck sealed suit in st louis.  the only thing that has gotten cold is my feet.  I have been out at 30 degrees F.  I wear thermal underwear and a hunting knit hat under the neoprene hat. I have been totally warm except for my feet and lower legs.  The boots should make a huge difference.  This is not crazy its fun.  The wind happens to blow here when the weater is colder.  I will be at Creve Couer aound noon saturday.  I will bring more than one board. Anna if you have an 8.0 sail will you consider selling it?  Please bring it if you might sell it.  There should be 4 of us there.  Before you bring eqipment lets find out if another windsurfer will show up.  I am possibly going tomorrow and Christmas also.  I cant wait to test out my new boots with woll socks. Ted.

Run up to Wallyworld aka Walmart and buy a few packs of handwarmer. They are those orangy plastic 2x2 packages that you take out and they warm up by some nuclear reaction. I stick them in my gloves and under my arch in my boots where they stay put. You will be suprised how warm it keeps your feet and hands.

 

Chris can buy a few dozen and ductape them all over his body to stay warm.

 

And since they are small nobody sees them and will still be in awe of you out there in that cold water.

By the way does nt the one pavilion across from the bathrooms at CC have a built in fireplace???? I am pretty sure it does. Lets all buy a pack of logs at the gas station and we can have a nice fire to stay warm around and tell lies....

I am bringing adult heart warming beverages and I will bring wood too!  I think the idea of Chris ductaping handwarmers all over his body is hysterical!!!  If I had a drysuit I would be out on the water with you all!
