It doesn't have to be an array. `processed` looks like a named scope to me,
and will_paginate works with named scopes just fine (that's the killer
feature of will_paginate with ActiveRecord, anyway).

Double-check that you've installed will_paginate correctly and show us
relevant code for the `workouts` association and how you defined
`processed`. Thanks
