Wikimedia Media?

Hi guys, just an update from the frantic chaos from the Taskforce.

I just noticed that someone created a collection called Wikimedia Foundation Media on the Internet Archive. See: http://archive.org/details/wmf-media

It seems to be created by a guy on the Internet Archive called Alexis, anyone knows of an update about this?

Alexis is the collections manager. We're working with Ariel Glenn (from WMF) and Kevin Day (from your.org) to get a historical mirror of WMF's media.

I see, so its being historical mirror for the images and media, not dumps... Looks like I made a mistake somewhere about the Archive's relationship with Wikimedia...

Well, there's not a big "relationship". I wrote to wmf and the archive to get permission/support for it.
