Hi Everyone,
Do we have any graphic designers on the list who could help out with converting the WikiEducator and Learning4Content brochures into open file formats, including updates on the contact particulars and any refinements we would like to make to the text of the brochures?
WikiEducator has two brochures that were produced while WE was operating as a project under the Commonwealth of Learning. Naturally, the text and images were released under open content licenses :-) and we can create derivative works.
I need help to update the contact particulars with reference to the OER Foundation etc. The original brochures were developed using non-free file formats and I would also like the source files of the brochures to be converted into open file formats.
If any graphic designers have a few hours to gift to help us convert the brochures into open file formats (using, and open source DTP tool like Scribus:
http://www.scribus.net) -- please send me an email or offer for help by return post on this list.
You can view the old versions of the brochures here:
Of course suggestions on improving and updating the copy / text of the brochures are also well received :-)
Many thanks -- let's make the future happen together!
Cheers
Wayne
