File formats and sizes for multimedia

1. Do we need to follow some standard format?

2. What are the acceptable file formats?
- I'm assuming proprietary are still more mature, has this changed?
What is the status of ogg for building multimedia? What is our
position on swf? Is there a WE page that explains all this?

3. Any limitation on file size?
- I think this question is self explanatory...
