Dear friends,

We would like to make the formal announcement of the Golden Jubilee Alumni Meet of RIEMAA to be held on 18 and 19 (Saturday and Sunday) of May 2013. Sorry for the delay in the formal announcement as we were waiting for the Karnataka assembly election dates to be finalised. The executive committee have the pleasure in inviting all of you to join this meet to make it a grand success. We do not have the current contact address of all our alumni. However, we are sending post cards to about 12000 of our alumni in the addresses available with the academic section of the Institute. Kindly spread this message among all the alumni in your contacts and invite them for the meet. Prior to this meet RIEMAA in partnership with UNICEF and RIEM is organizing a National Conference on Assessment Practices in Schools from 15 to 17 May 2013 at RIE, Mysore. We have received quite good number of papers. We have short listed 60 papers for presentation.

As announced earlier, we are organising two day alumni meet on 16^th and 19^th May 2013. We the executive committee of RIEMAA is requesting you to inform all your friends and others who are in contact with you. We are eagerly waiting for your joining to the Golden Jubilee celebrations. Prof. Parvin Sinklair, Director, NCERT is agreed to inaugurate the Golden Jubilee Year meet of RIEMAA on 18^th May 2013. Prof. Parvin Sinklair, Director, NCERT wanted to discuss with RIEMAA for academic discussions. Please join in RIEMAA meet to provide your suggestions for quality improvement of school education as well as teacher education. The programme schedule is enclosed as attachment.
