OERu to present closing session at UNESCO World OER Congress

I'm please to announce that the OERu will present the closing plenary session of the Open Seminar and Exhibition at the UNESCO World OER Congress.  

Live streaming of the congress will be available. You can also participate via the WSIS OER community platform and via microblogs using the tag #oercongress. For more information consult  the Congress homepage. 

As an international network, we are very fortunate to have a number of senior leaders from our anchor partners attending the World congress in Paris.  I will prepare a short video introduction introducing our OERu team from afar, albeit from afar.  

I would like to extend our thanks to the presentation team who will be representing the OERu in Paris, including:

• Prof Rory McGreal, UNESCO-COL Chair for OER at Athabasca University
• David Porter, Executive Director, BCcampus
• Prof Belinda Tynan,  Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning, Teaching and Quality), University of Southern Queensland.
• Dr Theresa Koroivulaono, Acting Director, Centre for Flexible and Distance Learning, University of the South Pacific.   

This is a wonderful opportunity to profile the work of all our anchor partners in providing more affordable education opportunities for all learners worldwide.
