Hello,

I'm not sure whether I should report the issue in this group or here:

http://trac.wikidpad2.webfactional.com/report

But the group seems to be more alive :)

The problem is - WikidPad 1.9rc05 crashes, it happens when I close it by
right-clicking on its icon in system tray and selecting exit.

Crashes are intermittent, sometimes it exits normally.

The environment is fully updated Windows XP Professional.

I attached the screenshots and the text file mentioned in the error.
Unfortunately I could not copy the backtrace information that was in
additional debug screen (damn Windows, it does not allow to copy it!)
and while I was trying that I accidentaly closed the entire error
message. If really needed I can try to copy it next time WikidPad crashes.

It might be related to the fact that the database is stored on portable
HDD (WD passport elite 320 - WDML 3200) and Windows stops it after some
idle time. Although I could not reproduce it by waiting until HDD stops
and exiting WikidPad - that time it exited normally again! So I don't
know how to reproduce the problem at the moment.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide you with.

Have a nice day and thank you for the really great app!

I know this problem, but unfortunately I couldn't find a cure yet.

I will try something new in the next version to see if it helps.

OK, sure. I will try to provide that debug information if it crashes
again. Btw, I could not make it crash since I sent that e-mail :)

Well, this is very strange, but it never failed since I wrote that
initial problem report. I don't know, but it seems like the problem
happens only when you start using WikidPad? :) Or maybe it really is
related to the size of the database somehow. Anyways, so far so good.

It seems to happen more often if the computer is busy when WikidPad is
closed.

aha - it failed again recently, again, for no apparent reason, and I can't say that PC was too busy at that time.

This time I print-screened some part of the debug report, but of course not all of it (again - damn Windows!).

Not sure if it contains any useful information, but anyway.

Best regards,
