Voces de la Frontera, (Spanish for Voices of the Frontier) an
“Immigrants Rights” organization,

is hosting a lobby session and training in our state capitol for
illegal aliens and supporters of illegal aliens to demand that the
State of Wisconsin and our taxpayers, give illegal aliens In-State
tuition for a college education. In addition, they are demanding
Driver’s Certificates for illegal aliens, because they are in the
country illegally and cannot get a legal Driver’s License.
Someone in Wisconsin State Government has even arranged for Voces de
la Frontera to use the Joint Finance Room 412 E at the State Capitol
at 9:00 AM for a lobby training session of their illegal alien members
and their supporters.
Taxpayers Should Not Subsidize College for Illegal Aliens
It violates United State Federal Law! Not only is it expensive but
it’s illegal!
It harms United States Citizens, as it grants a privilege to illegal
alien that is not granted to United States Citizens from other states.
U.S. Citizens from California for instance have to pay out-of-state
tuition.
It harms legal immigrants who have been law abiding and come through
the legal process to attend our universities and colleges.
With increased cost and limited enrollment; increasing accessibility
to illegal alien students with deny opportunities to U.S. citizens and
legal residents.
With skyrocketing college costs, slots at state subsidized
universities are becoming the only hope of higher education for
American Families. They should not be given to people in the country
illegally.
Admitting and subsidizing illegal aliens, in effect, punishes citizens
and legal residents who have done nothing wrong themselves.
Even if an illegal alien student gets a college degree, they are still
in the country illegally. Current U.S. Federal Law does not allow them
to adjust their status to legal. They are unable to obtain legal
employment.
Illegal Aliens Should not be granted Drivers Certificates
Illegal aliens are not eligible for Wisconsin driver’s licenses
because they are barred by federal law from establishing legal
domicile in any state! It’s illegal!
It promotes and supports illegal immigration. It makes living in
Wisconsin attractive to other illegal aliens and encourages them to
move here. It sends the message that Wisconsin doesn’t abide by US
Federal Immigration law.
Granting illegal aliens state issued documents without appropriate
criminal background checks and identity verification means that
Wisconsin could assist in allowing for criminals and terrorists to
remain in our country undetected.
With the current Drug War and Narco Terrorism threat our country is
facing, granting illegal aliens state issued documents for any reason
is a step backwards. This would send the message to the criminal narco
terrorists that Wisconsin doesn’t care who you are, we are happy to
include you, license you and your activities.
State issued documents to illegal aliens are breeder documents most
prized my drug dealers, gang members and terrorists, because is
renders them invisible to local and federal law enforcement officials.
State issued documents give easy access to open bank accounts, obtain
housing, gain employment, access transportation and even register to
vote.
Driver’s license are available to legal immigrants, and the only
people who would need a Driver’s Certificate, are people who have
broken our laws to get here. Wisconsin should never be in a position
of supporting law breakers.
