Thanks for bringing it Joe!! Thanks bill p too for offering.  

Chorgy unset the OCDEN bit via Arduino sketch, and got ISP working again, and the additional mega allowed me to narrow the jtag problem to a worn- out pin socket contact!!

JTAG WORKING, now to see if it still will when the Shields are put back on.

Well, no.  Jtag is now working for programming but but it's just not showing any chip content info when we try to debug. 

I have to put the shields together today minutes before I leave here. Going to leave the ISP programmer connected to the COM Comptroller mega as well as the jay tag programmer. Brad you'll need to add a different programmer to the flight computer please.
