Remember we will make up teams of individual players so this is a great chance to introduce players to the sport.

Trent I believe Andy Olson is referring to National Wheelchair Veterans
Games not National Wheelchair softball Tournament.

Andy -

First of all, I wish you good luck this year - what a wonderful event
and opportunity you have! I organized the softball tourney in 2007 in
Milwaukee, and also held it in our County Zoo parking lot, but did not
utilize a backstop at all. Between the catcher and umpires, I don't
recall having any problems. Plus, we had volunteers, mostly youth

I am the co-chair for the 2009 games (softball) being held in Spokane
in July. We are using a parking lot as our field. I would like to know
what would be best to use
for the batter's back stop. Netting or chainlink or whatever. Thanks,
