BUDDHA DHARMA WEEK - 2009

Schedule of Public Events

From 14th December to 22nd December 


Ven Geshe Lhakdor, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives (LTWA) has again kindly consented to be with us during Buddha Dharma Week, and will be giving a series of public talks and teachings. Prior to his appointment at the LTWA, he was the official translator of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama for nearly 14 years, and in that position has travelled with His Holiness all around the globe, for Buddhist teachings and in the cause of Tibet.


What is given below is the schedule of Public Events. We also have some other events which are open only to the core group of the Dharma Rain Centre, and some private events such as interaction with college students and so on.

“The Ultimate View of Reality – In Zen and Tibetan Buddhism”

Venue: M.C. Ghia Hall, Rampart Row, Kalaghoda ( above Copper Chimney)

 

Note: Ven. Sudhammacara is a Japanese Zen Master who has also received ordination in the Theravada and Tibetan Buddhist Traditions. He currently teaches Zen meditation in Japan and also spends long periods in India, teaching meditation.
