Modern Vitellonismo appears in L'Ultimo Bacio (Italian for The Last Kiss) through the life of four friends in their early thirties, scared by fatherhood and wishing to escape… escape, either far away or back into an eternal adolescence. Contemporary Italian society is portrayed in this movie with a post-modern filter, enacting the irreconciled tension between the sake of perfection and the reality of life.
