Dear Cairo Scholars,

The Middle East Studies Center (MESC) of the American University in Cairo is proud to invite you to attend the talk held by Dr. Asef Bayat under the title:

"Life as Politics: How Ordinary People Change the Middle East"

This event will take place on the November 24th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Oriental Hall of the AUC Downtown Campus. (entrance from Mohammad Mahmoud Street, across from McDonalds)

Society and Culture of Modern Middle East, Leiden University, The
Netherlands.

Admittance is allowed to all non AUC visitors with a valid passport or another credible piece of ID.
