PRODUCTION ANNOUNCEMENT!

Alliance Francaise and Bangalore Little Theatre are launching an Indo-French theatre festival tied up with a Directors training programme as part of their partnership.

The five plays included in the festival programme are Indian adaptations of plays by renowned French writers:

1. RAJDHANI, an adaptation of Deathwatch by Jean Genet.

Directed by Siddharth Jose and Murtuza Khetty

2. A MINER SCREAM, an adaptation of Black Battle with Dogs by Bernard-Marie Koltes

Directed by Srividya Srinivas and Abhishek Sundaravadanan.

3. GIRL ON CALL, an adaptation of The Respectful Prostitute by Jean-Paul Sartre

Directed by Pragati Siddhanti and Abhishek Jain

4. HOMEWARD BOUND, an adaptation of Cross Purpose by Albert Camus.

Directed by Sonalika Dugar and Akshat Arora.

5. MOLIERE ALIVE! A potpourri of scenes from Moliere’s plays combined with glimpses into the dramatist’s life.

Directed by Priya Rao and Padmaja Nagarur
