what the hell's running ?

Having downloaded the site, I can't tell what's spyware,
or any kind of malware, for that matter. How might I identify the bad stuff
?

Martin. It's called research. You can use Google to find out
everything you need to know about what is running on your system. You
can also go here and use this list. http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm.
After awhile of studying, you'll learn to regonize what to look for.
