Hi everyone!
For those of you interested in taking your prop- and movement-based explorations into realms other than the hoop, two new opportunities below!
1. New beginner poi class starting Wednesday March 7
2. New fire fans class Saturday afternoons starting March 17

NEW POI 1 CLASS ON WEDNESDAYS!
I am starting a second beginner class on Wednesday evenings.
The class will be held on my roof in South Williamsburg (Broadway at Hewes) and will therefore be less expensive, $140 instead of $180 for the 10-week series. In case of rain or other extreme weather, we would move downstairs to my apartment, which would hold all of us but might involve moving a little furniture. Part of the class may be in dusk or dark - we will have some lighting on the roof but this will not be ideal studio conditions, hence the reduced price. The class aspects, however, will remain the same and the last class will be a fire class!!
Calendar details:
Wednesdays, 435 Broadway in Brooklyn
Ideally I would like to hold the class from 6-7:30 in order to make the most use of daylight hours. *
Ideally I would like to start *this Wednesday,* so the dates would be March 7 - May 10. **
*If enough of you are unable to arrive by 6 we will push the time back to 6:30-8, but more of the class will be in twilight/darkness.
**If enough of you are unable to start this Wednesday we will push the dates to March 14 - May 17.
Enrollment:
A $70 deposit would be required to confirm registration, and $70 cash the first day of class.
If you are interested please respond ASAP and include whether you are able to do the 6pm start time and March 7 start date.
I would need at least 6 people to run the class. Please feel free to invite friends if you have any that are interested as well; they can email me directly.
Other: All other usual class rules apply; see regular studio class details for more details.

FIRE FAN class
I will be starting a fun & informal fire fans class this spring. The class will be focused on outlining ideas and concepts for working out your own moves and sequences, and will guide you through a process of how to discover the fun of this wonderful prop. We will focus on various aspects of fan technique, including lines & patterns, body placement, tech, tricks, spins, tosses, story, movement, and sequencing. Much of the class will be student-based, with a focus on sharing, communicating, and exploring with each other. The last class will be a fire class!!
The class will be held at Battery Park in downtown Manhattan (fire class will be held in South Williamsburg). This location will help to keep the cost low, but will entail some flexibility. In case of rain or other extreme weather, the class will move to Sunday from 4-5:30pm.

Price: I am offering this series at a special debut price of $125. Keepin it real for y'all!! Get it while it's hot!!!!
Equipment: You will need a set of fans to participate in this class. It is recommended to get a set of fans that are sized to do tech moves with and that you can spin, i.e. have an internal finger loop. You can still participate in the class if you have larger style fans, however. If you need help choosing what kind of fans to buy, let me know.
Enrollment: Register by confirming with me and placing a deposit of $50 via paypal, making sure to select "personal/payment owed" for type of payment to avoid fees. The remaining balance of $75 can be paid in cash on the first day of class.
I will need 6 confirmed registrations to run this class. Feel free to invite friends and spread the word if you want to see this class happen :)
