Glad you are looking for things to start happening (I think you

Hello All:

I guess I am going for the WGC 2012 biggest remote fan award. I am on
Soaring Cafe, both com and net (I believe), and also on the WGC 2012
Site. I think it might be better if they had a WGC Main Site with the
WGC 2012 event as a sub-site of it (if it isn't). It would be nice if
that had a way to link up with friends (if it doesn't) and also

The Local Procedures Self Briefing document (340 Local Procedures) has
been updated. All participating parties are asked to re-familiarize
themselves with this document. It contains such important items as the
layout of the airport, camping areas, aircraft landing and car
movement procedures that must be followed during the Uvalde Glide

WGC Website Now Online

The 32nd World Gliding Championship (July 28-August 19, 2012, Uvalde,
Texas) Web site is now live. The Web addresses for the site are

The site was released April 20 after a detailed review of prior WGC
websites. The features include a information, contestant, sponsor,
instant updates and message center. Video and still images are posted

The WGC USA web needs to be a team effort.

There will be a number of web based features that will require a team
to accomplish. Contest entry is one of these areas that needs to be
built out. The ability to take and process credit cards along with an
online store would be helpful. This functionality was not possible in

Work is well underway on the USA 2012 World Gliding Championship
website.

Over the last several months the sites design, content and function
have all been defined. A web based content management system called

The WGC web is coming along and it would be nice to show some Uvlade
soaring images on the site. We need photos of soaring, finishes,
landings, the people, the grid, in flight, launching and anything else
relating to Uvalde and soaring. If you have any of these photos please
