After the meeting tonight Eric mentioned a youtube video I tweeted
recently. Here it is:

OK, I've seen this video mentioned in a few places now and to be
honest, I really don't understand the appeal. The guy in the video is
really annoying - what am I missing? Maybe he was so annoying that I
never made it to the end - maybe there's some fantastically funny
ending? Or is the thing just that the guy is annoying?

I think it's that the guy is annoying, primarily. I don't think it's
for everyone.

This video fascinates me. I tried to explain it last night, and the
best I can do is to say that I have directly opposing thoughts at the
same time when I watch it, and that tickles my brain. On the one hand
the guy so arrogant as to be offensive. On the other hand he's so
arrogant that he's fascinating and I want to know what he'll say next,
even though I know he's full of shit. :)

If he had a reality show I would probably watch it.

OK, you made me look...

I was prepared for something really obnoxious. I guess I'm too used
to such. I didn't find him all that bad.

OTOH, if you don't want to spend much on bizness cards (and they
don't have to be one-color-only -- they just have to include advertising
on the back of them ;), I saw one last week that was free (other than
shipping) from vistaprint.com, and it looks decent.

Yeah, if you've ever shopped for a car, you've probably met this same
guy.

"My card doesn't fit in a Rolodex because IT DOESN'T BELONG IN A
ROLODEX."

Hahaha.... I think I have the whole thing committed to memory now.

Funny thing is, a business card is nearly obsolete. So he developed
his $4 business card over 25 years just in time for it to be useless.

And +1 to Vista Print. Cheap and good enough for the rare occasion
where I need a card.

I'll add a recommendation for VistaPrint, although you do have to put
up with a lot of high pressure to buy extras.

Just yesterday I was at Innotech and two different people complimented
me on my business cards. Makes me smile because I only paid $5 for 250
of them.

If anyone wants to order anything from VistaPrint, let me know. I
have several discount codes lying around for them. If you just go to
their site without using a discount code in the URL, the prices are
higher (like double).
