Pest Control Recommendations?

We have an unwelcome visitor scrabbling around in our basement ceiling. Can anyone recommend a pest control company in the area?

We've used NW Pest Control for about 20 years - ie. for maintenance and also for addressing occasional unexpected issues. They are reliable, efficient, use non-toxic means for everything, and are very conscientious and respectful.

Adam,

You didn’t indicate what kind of critter, but whatever you do, please do not hire a pest control company that will use poison to kill mice and rats. The poison can take days to ultimately kill the critter during which time in their weakened state they are out and about and often consumed by slightly larger carnivores, such as owls and raptors, foxes or raccoons, who are in turn killed by the poison. So many sad stories of this happening. 

We had a rat problem some years ago and I still have the rat snap traps we used. Happy to lend them to you. I also placed dry ice in their holes to suffocate them painlessly in their sleep.

We've been using Green Planet for ant control for years and they also do rodent control. They do not use any poison.  You can reach them at 617-535-1943.  Todd is the manager and the entire team is super.  greenplanetpest.com

I agree with Ann about avoiding all poisons because of their negative impact on large birds.
