Holiday Market

It is hard to believe that the Holiday Market is rapidly approaching. Because of publication deadlines for the WOW, Jennifer is being interviewed this coming Thursday to discuss the Holiday Market and what type of vendors will participate, etc. There will be an article in the November WOW to promote the event. (Yeah!)

Any member of the Westchase Artists Society is invited to participate in the Market on Saturday, December 1 from 10AM until 5PM at a cost of $40. Please let Jennifer know by Tuesday, October 9 if you are interested in participating and what you will be marketing. (No money is due at this time.) She would like to be able to provide the interviewer with better information about what to expect. Also, we will be sending out a call for outside vendors so it is important to reserve your spot before then.

I would welcome any pictures that you might have from previous Holiday Markets or of the work you plan to sell. Please send me pictures by Tuesday and I will burn all available images to a CD to give to Jennifer for the WOW. I may also be able to submit these images for other publicity purposes so please do not send something you are not willing to share.

P.S. We will not be able to meet at the Swim & Tennis Center for our October meeting. I will try to reserve a room at the Library so please keep a lookout for further information.

Hello everyone!

ONLY 58 DAYS UNTIL THE 3RD ANNUAL HOLIDAY MARKET!!!! But no pressure. ;)

Thank you to those of you who have already responded to our query of who
will participate. At this time, I have:

Teresa
Jenn
Dean
Judy
Rena
Harvey

I would like to ask for 2 volunteers to help me with the Market this year:

1. Restaurant Coordinator. This person would help coordinate the
restaurants that are sampling food at our event. Be a touchstone if they
have questions, and make sure they are happy the day of the event.

2. Music Coordinator. This person would look for and help set up live
music possibilities.

Teresa has already accepted the 3rd position of "PR Person Extraordinaire" -
thank you Teresa! These positions will not cut into your sales time. We
may have a couple of meetings at my house before the event to keep us all on
the same page. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested!

Please also continue to think about a raffle item which might be appropriate
for the event. Thank you guys!
