I recently moved my Plan 9 server from a VPS at arpnetworks.com to a
dedicated server
at ovh.ie. Its hardware is described here:

I conducted a comparison of werc performance under rc-httpd and
pegasus. The following
test was run 100 times, locally, on the machine that was serving
http://okturing.com. During
the tests, the machine was also under load serving regular mail, web
and cpu services.
Looking at the numbers, results are fairly even. In my web browser,
pegasus feels
considerably slower when paired with werc, but considerably faster when serving
static pages.
The results of the tests against werc are presented below.
