I'm sure you saw the news a bit back about ActiveResource being
dropped from Rails core:
https://github.com/rails/rails/commit/f1637bf2bb00490203503fbd943b73406e043d1d
You'll notice in that commit message that it mentions that there are
alternatives out there. I've done some searching and I'm not finding
anything that screams "this is the right thing nowadays". I have a
vague feeling that something obvious or well known is just beyond my
search term choices' reach...
What do you suggest as an alternative to ActiveResource these days?
Cheers,
Walter

Ah, ruby-toolbox.com. Been reading references to that as helpful here
and there. Certainly looks like a good thing to check out in this
case!
Nahum, yeah, HER looks interesting. Will take a look,
Cheers,
Walter
I checked out a number of the ones on ruby-toobox.com and her actually
looks like the nicest of the lot. However it only started on April 1st
which gives me pause.
Looking at the README and doing a code check, it looks pretty nice and
clean though.
Thanks for the pointer.
Cheers,
Walter
