How to let weinre update element panel when the page's DOM tree has changed?And navigate to the last node that we've inspected?

It already should be updating the element panel when the DOM tree changes.  Or do you mean the root document element, which we might not be checking.

There is also supposed to be rudimentary support for remembering the last inspected node.

Not really,in my case,a slide img list switch by change element's class,by every node in the weinre stay at the first inspect :(

Can you post the smallest possible example that fails for you, as a single .html file (js included).
